Terms of Use

  • Customs Clearance & Regulatory Compliance

    Linkwave Cargo Services may, when required, take the following actions on behalf of the sender or recipient:

    • Complete documentation, update codes, and prepay duties, taxes, or any charges imposed by applicable laws or regulations
    • Act as the authorized agent of the shipper or consignee, or appoint a licensed customs broker for clearance and export control purposes
    • Redirect shipments to an alternative broker or delivery address, where such requests are reasonable and within scope
  • Prohibited Shipments

    Shipments will not be accepted if they:

    • Contain firearms, ammunition, explosives, counterfeit goods, currency, bullion, shisha, alcohol, cannabis, human remains, live animals, unprocessed precious stones, or any other restricted or illegal items
    • Are classified as dangerous goods or restricted articles under local or international transport regulations
    • Are incorrectly addressed, improperly labeled, or inadequately packaged to withstand transit
  • Delivery and Non-Deliverables
    • Delivery is limited to physical addresses and cannot be made to P.O. boxes or similar postal codes
    • All deliveries will be made to the physical address provided by the sender. Linkwave Cargo Services is not obligated to confirm delivery to the named individual
    • Where necessary, the company may notify the recipient of upcoming deliveries, missed deliveries, or offer rescheduling or redirection options
  • Claims for Loss or Damage
    • Written claims for sea freight must be submitted within thirty-five (35) days from the date the shipment was accepted
    • Claims for air freight must be filed within ten (10) days from acceptance
    • Only one claim per shipment is permitted, and any approved claim will be considered a full and final settlement
    • Notice of physical damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
  • Shipment Insurance
    • Upon the shipper’s written request and payment of the necessary premium, Linkwave Cargo Services can facilitate shipment insurance for loss or damage
    • Customers are encouraged to obtain independent insurance coverage for items valued above USD 1,500
    • This coverage excludes indirect or consequential losses, or delays in transit
  • Liability Exceptions

    Linkwave Cargo Services will not be responsible for losses or damages resulting from:

    • External or internal factors beyond its control, including cyber incidents, magnetic interference with electronics, or defects inherent to the shipment
    • Third-party actions or omissions
    • Force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or government interventions
  • Shipper Responsibilities and Indemnity

    The shipper agrees to indemnify and protect Linkwave Cargo Services against any claims or liabilities arising from:

    • Shipment of prohibited or restricted goods
    • Improper packing, handling, or storage
    • Non-compliance with applicable trade laws, sanctions, and customs procedures
    • Misrepresentation or undeclared items requiring specific authorizations
    • Incomplete or incorrect documentation, permits, or licenses
    • Failure to meet data protection responsibilities where personal data is involved
  • Routing and Diversion

    The shipper consents to all routing choices made by Linkwave Cargo Services, which may include diversions and intermediate transit stops where necessary.

  • Governing Law

    These terms shall be governed by the laws of the country in which the shipment originated. Disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of that country’s courts, unless otherwise mandated by law.

  • Severability Clause

    If any section of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in full force and effect.
